The Philippine Society of Pediatric Cardiology (PSPC) won the bid to host the 9th Congress of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiology Society (APPCS) in 2022.

In its first time to bid, the PSPC included in the presentation the mission-vision of the society, its short history and list of past presidents including its present set of officers,  the local and international conventions organized since 1992, letters of endorsement from the Philippine Pediatric Society, the Philippine Heart Association and its subspecialty societies,  proposed instructional design, possible venues of the congress in the country (including Manila, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo), travel tips to the Philippines including “Why choose the Philippines”.

DR. POPPY ROEBIONO of Indonesia (APPCS President 2018 -2020) gave the official announcement last July 1, 2019.

The PSPC Officers and Board have unanimously voted DR.
