Strategic Roadmap Planning 2023-2028

Success doesn’t just happen, it is planned for. Keeping this in mind, the PSPC held a strategic roadmap planning session entitled “PSPC Embracing Change in the Universal Health Care Implementation”. One of the goals of the event was to integrate our future endeavors with the anticipated implementation of the Universal Health Care System by the Department of Health. The day-long event was held at the Children’s Heart Foundation at the Philippine Heart Center last August 8, 2023. 

It was kickstarted by an opening message from Dr. Gerardo S. Manzo, Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services at the Philippine Heart Center. This was followed by a short refresher course on Strategic Planning by Dr. Juliet J. Balderas.

The attendees were then divided into their respective committees to work on their strategic position for the coming five years. The event ended fruitfully as the society was able to come up with a Strategy Map for 2023-2028, based on our Mission and Core Values. Indeed, we are blessed to have talented and dedicated leaders and members who work selflessly to plan for and achieve the goals of the society, for the benefit of the Filipino Children.
