PSPC INDUCTION 2016 OFFICERS AND BOARD OF OFFICERS

The newly-elected Officers and Board of Directors of the Philippine Pediatric Society of Pediatric Cardiology (PSPC) were inducted into office by Past President Dr. Teofilo Cantre last June 30, 2016 at the Adult Cardiology Conference Room, Philippine Heart Center. Dr. Maria Corazon A. Estevanez was inducted as President, with Dr. Maria Bernadette A. Azcueta as Vice-President, Dr. Ninfa J. Villanueva as Secretary, Dr. Juan G. Reganion as Treasurer, and Dr. Regente I. Lapak and Dr. Maria Ronella T. Francisco as Board of Directors and Immediate Past President Dr. Eden D. Latosa.
Dr. Latosa in her Valedictory Speech, highlighted the activities and accomplishments of her 2-year tenure of presidency, which included the PSPC Postgraduate Course in May 2015, the 6th PSPC Biennial Convention in May 2016 round-table discussions and revisiting of the society’s constitution and by-laws.

In her acceptance speech, Dr. Estevanez gave a review of the past achievements of her predecessors before laying out her plans for the society in her watch.

The occasion was attended by PSPC members and other PSPC Past Presidents Dr. Ma. Rhodora G. de Leon, Dr. Della G. Pelaez, Dr. Aurora S. Gamponia, Dr. Aurelia G. Leus and Dr. Magdalena J. Lagamayo.

Current President of the Philippine Heart Association Dr. Raul Lapitan also came and gave an inspiring speech to give support to the PSPC and the newly-inducted set of officers.
