FUTURE EVENT: 7th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery (WCPCCS) in June 2017

The 7^th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery  will be held at the Centre De Convencions Internacional De Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Cataluna, Spain on July 16 -21, 2017.

According to Prof. Sertac Cicek (Congress Chair) and Prof. Levent Saltık (Co-Chair), the central philosophy of the Congress is “bridging together” all major specialties with the scientific program carefully planned to address all interests and expertise with concentration streams on pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery, adult congenital heart diseases, anesthesia, intensive care and nursing.

Likewise, the Congress will provide a unique opportunity to meet the leaders of specialties worldwide; to learn about the latest innovations and the results of procedures; and to contribute to the discussions, debates and plenary sessions with renowned speakers.

PSPC  members have attended the past WCPCCS conventions  such as the  3^rd WCPCCS Congress in Toronto, Canada last 2001,  4^th WCPCCS Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina  last September 18 – 23, 2005 led by then PSPC President Dr. Rhodora G.  de Leon, the 5^th WCPCCS Congress in Cairns, Australia in June 2009 led by then President Dr. Aurora S. Gamponia, and the 6^th WCPCCS Congress in February 17 -22, 2013 in Cape Town, South Africa.

For this year, PSPC President Dr. Maria A. Estevanez will be leading the Philippine delegation consisting of 43 pre- registered PSPC members as of November 2016, the biggest delegation so far in the history of PSPC.
